The Tipo Booking app creates service based on Shopify products. After creating a service in the app, the booking form will show up on the product page on the online store.
There are 2 options to create the service.
- create with an existing product
- create with a new product
Create service based on an existing product
Steps to manage
1. Create a service product in Shopify Products. Product name will be service name, product price will be service price.
The product status is active.
2. Open the app > click Services > click Add Service button
3. Select one product from Shopify product list
4. Configure required sections including Capacity & Duration, Availability, Employees to set up your booking service. Click Customize based on variants to set the duration and capacity for each variant of the product
Capacity is the maximum number of slots at the same period of time.
4. Select
Pay to Book to require customers to pay for the service
6. Click Save
Check the booking form on the front store. The booking form will show up on the product page on the online store.
Note: Also, to make sure the booking form works on the site, please activate the app on the theme here
Create a new service with a new product
This option allows users to create the service directly in the Tipo app. The service is still built with a Shopify product, but you do not need to create the Shopify product first.
Step to manage
1. Open the app > click Services > click Add Service button
2. Select the option Create new service with new product
3. Configure required sections including Title, Price, Capacity & Duration, Availability, Employees to set up your booking service. Click Customize based on variants to set the duration and capacity for each variant of the product
Capacity is the maximum number of slots at the same period of time.
4. Select Pay to Book to require customers to pay for the service
5. Click Save
Check the booking form on the front store. The booking form will show up on the product page on the online store.
Note: After the service is created, a new product with the same title is created in your Shopify store too. If you want to edit the service price, name and image, please go to the product detail at your store backend.
