Steps to manage
1. Open the app in Source store > click Settings
2. In Share products part > Inventory and Orders > select one of 5 options to sync Source store to Destination store
There are 3 options as below:
- No Sync: the product inventory will not be changed when 2 stores are connected
- One-Way Inventory Sync: Only sync inventory from Source store to Destinations store
- Draft Order Sync: Create draft orders on your store when synced products are ordered on your Destination stores
Sync when orders are created from Destination stores to Source store
3. Click Save
How the Synchronization Works
Inventory Synchronization
-
Matching Products: Products are synchronized based on their handle. Ensure that each product has the same handle across all stores.
-
Location-Based Sync: Inventory is synced for locations with identical names in both the Source and Destination Stores.
-
Sync Direction:
-
One-Way Sync: Inventory updates flow from the Source Store to the Destination Store(s).
-
Two-Way Sync: Inventory updates are shared between the Source and Destination Stores, reflecting changes from either side.
-
Order Synchronization
- Order Importing: Orders placed in the Destination Store(s) are automatically imported into the Source Store.
