Mange Source stores

The Tipo Multi-store Sync app allows you to connect and manage multiple Source Stores from your Destination Store. This enables efficient synchronization of products, inventory, orders, and more across your Shopify stores.

Check Source store list

Open the app in Destination store > click Stores > you will see the source store that are connected to your destination store

Edit connection to a source store

1. Open the app in Destination store > click Stores > click on the store URL you want

2. Change the configuration of the connection

You can

  • Change the matching imports option
  • Select the products to sync by tags or exclude products by tag
  • Change the Price mapping & transformations
  • Enable /disable Collections sync, page sync, blog sync

3. Click Save to update the changes

 

The connection details include some settings below.

1. Matching & Imports

There are 3 options that allows users decide how the products is updated in Source store if there are any changes on both sides.

2. Unlink Behavior

This setting allows users decide how the products are updated if there is one product that is deleted in Source store

  • Unpublish products when the parent products are removed from the parent sync.
  • Unpublish the product and set the inventory to 0 if the product has been sold in the past to preserve order history, or delete the product if it has never been historically ordered.
  • Remove the product from your shop when the product is removed from the parent sync.
  • No action performed, leave the product how it is when the product is removed from the parent sync.

3. Products sync settings

The setting allows you decide which products in Destination store will be updated when there are changes in Source store.

5. Price mapping & transformations

This part allows users change product price when syncing them from Source store to Destination store.

For example: Product price will increase by 10% if they are imported from Source store to Destination store based on the setting in the screenshot below:

6. Collection, Pages and Blogs sync settings

Enable the setting if you want to allow source stores to sync all pages, blogs and articles of this store.

 

Disconnect to a Source store

1. Open the app in Destination store > click Stores

2. Click (x) icon on the right of the store you want to remove

The app provides you 4 options to manage the synced products on the Destination store. You can select one of them.

For example, if you want  removed the products that are synced from Source store to this store, select the Delete option.

  • Unsync without deleting the product from your destination store
  • Unpublish: Unsync and unpublish the product from your destination store
  • Unsync and unpublish if product has been ordered, delete otherwise
  • Unsync and delete the product from your destination store

 

Then do the same in the app on Source store to remove the connection completely.

After the connection is removed, it may take time to process. Please wait for a while to let the app finish it then you can create a new connection.
